Hot Tub Reviews > Sundance Marin
UPDATE: Shortly after submitting this review, Bob got a call from Sundance Spas, and it looks like they're going to replace the hot tub he's been having so much trouble with. For now, you can read the original review, but he's going to update us once he sees how things turn out, so you may want to bookmark this page and check back in a couple months.
Pros: Comfort, power of jets, ease of use and water maintenance
Cons: Service and support
Price Paid: $8,000
Review:
The tub works great but due to the problem with the stereo I can not recommend Sundance. We paid a premium price to get the model with the built in stereo with remote. Due to an apparent
technical defect, the stereo turns itself on at midnight when the evening filter cycle starts. Over the past seven months, the dealer has swapped out the stereo (and a host of other parts) several times but to no avail. What was supposed to be a source of relaxation has
evolved into a source of constant aggravation for me (as well as our neighbors) when I have to go running out in the middle of the night to turn the %*!!#@%&! thing off. Given the inability of Sundance to solve the problem (despite boasting the industry's best warranty....at an extremely high price) I would never buy a Sundance again.
