Review:
Bought it at Home Depot last July - had it up from July to November (we are on East Coast of Canada, so winter is kind of harsh). Had no problems when we first operated it last summer - took it down, put it away for winter, and set it up in July this year.
First problem was there were 4 or 5 holes in the outside vinyl that I had to patch. Not a big deal, but don't know how the holes got there. Anyway, fixed those - was up for about a week, and then the blower started going off by itself. Drained the tub, looked at the power pack, filled the tub back up, seemed to work for awhile, then the blower started going off by itself again.
Called Comfortline, but the tub only has 1 year warranty, and we were about 2 weeks past that, even though it was only used for about 3 months. ANyway, it appeared that water had gotten inside the electonic control panel. I peeled off the top control panel (it's just stuck on with adhesive), let the circuit part dry out, and then put the panel back on and sealed around it.
Everything seemed to work fine then for about 3 weeks - then the temperature started resetting itself. Temp would get up to about 91, then it would reset back to 61, and the filter didn't seem to be clearing the water, so I drained and refilled it again, replaced the filter, and again, it appeared to be working, but it gets up above 90 and the temperature resets back to 61.
Bottom line - I knew when I bought it that the quality probably wasn't great, but the price was right. It worked perfectly for 3 months, but since it hasn't been worth the money. I would not recommend it - save your money and see if you can get a "real" one - most hot tub places now offer financing so you don't need a big cash outlay up front.,
